Tucker Sargent is in his 14th season as the head coach of the University of Montana men's lacrosse team. In his time at the helm of Montana he has taken the team back to conference prominence, including a 2022 MCLA National Championships Semifinals appearance, 2022 PNCLL Conference Championship, 2017 PNCLL Conference Championship and to the national tournament in 2022, 2021, 2019 and 2017.  Coach Sargent has coached multiple All-Conference and All-America players and has had 10 appearances in the conference tournament.  His ultimate goal is to build the team back up to a national title contender and recruit strong committed student athletes that can appreciate everything else Montana has to offer in the classroom, on the field and outdoors.  Coach Sargent took over the team after graduating and playing for the University of Montana.  At Montana Coach Sargent was part of the 2007 National Championship team, an MCLA All-American and three time All-Conference player.  Coach Sargent grew up in New England where he enjoyed the outdoors, hockey and lacrosse.  He spends his free time playing in the outdoors of Montana, kayaking, skiing and taking his players on wild adventures.  Coach Sargent treats the team like his family often having players over for dinners and letting the guys run around with his three basset hounds, Bruce, Buford, Boone and his bloodhound, Daisey.
