MISSOULA, MONT. - Under a blustery fall sky, The University of Montana Grizzlies lacrosse team defended its champion status at the 2nd Annual Montana Lacrosse Shootout.

Going undefeated on the weekend, The Griz downed Montana State, Gonzaga and the University of Idaho to defend their title.

With some impressive lacrosse coming from a number of UM recruits and transfers, and a strong showing from returning players, The Griz look to continue their success through the fall in preparation for another exciting spring.
